Published by Getsuyosha, this monumental 832-pages book contains more than 1000 images by Daido Moriyama. Certainly one of the most celebrated Japanese photographers in contemporary photography, he is also one of the most prolific, having produced dozens of books in multiple formats. This latter one stands out from the rest for the sheer volume of work presented, which contains unpublished images, as well as perfectly executed graphic design, photo sequencing and printing. Taken from the digital archives of the Shadai Gallery, the work reproduced spans from 1960 until the publication of Light and Shadow in 1982 and presents the entire archive of the gallery. Among these, a selection of photos from the first ten years of Moriyama's career also show a lesser-known part of his work. Both historical and poetic, this beautiful book is unmissable for fans of Japanese photography and Moriyama alike. Signed.

Pick up
The free pick up of your order at the bookstore is available upon presentation of an identity document. Any order not collected from the shop within one month of payment will be automatically refunded.

Return
Retraction possible within 7 days from receiving the order. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Returned books must be in perfect condition. The bookstore reserves the right to refuse reimbursement of the books if this shouldn't be the case.
