This second volume of the logbook presents the years 2020 and 2021 of the artistic expedition Initium Maris, which is part of the series Productive Landscapes, an inventory of the underwater landscapes of the French coasts started by Nicolas Floc'h in 2015.
Initium Maris and Paysages productifs aims to show, from the photographic point of view, what extends under the surface as far as the eye can see; to question the representations that are made of the ocean; to carry out an inventory of the typology of landscapes at a given moment; to disseminate this work in the world of art, but also in the most diverse circles: scientific communities, citizens, school...
Nicolas Floc'h's photographic series Productive Landscapes gathers a set of projects on the representation of underwater landscapes and habitats and their role as productive ecosystems, the factory of life. Essential indicators of major societal issues, the color of the ocean and the state of landscapes allow us to visualize phenomena such as the modification and habitability of environments. They also evoke the regulation and transformation of the climate, the degradation and preservation of biodiversity and, in fact, a global approach to the biosphere.

If all of the books ordered are not in stock at the bookstore and you wish to receive the first part of your order, a delivery in two times is possible.

Pick up
The free pick up of your order at the bookstore is available upon presentation of an identity document. Any order not collected from the shop within one month of payment will be automatically refunded.
Shipping fees
Shipping costs are calculated based on the chosen carrier, the weight and the delivery address of your package. Once your order is in your cart, you can have an estimate of the shipping costs offered by each transport service.
Return
Retraction possible within 7 days from receiving the order. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Returned books must be in perfect condition. The bookstore reserves the right to refuse reimbursement of the books if this shouldn't be the case.
